Pros

  • Fully managed setup: the partner handles ad ops, wrappers and demand for you
  • Established track record with mid-size publishers migrating from AdSense to AdX
  • Clear, published eligibility criteria before you apply

Cons

  • Manage Inventory means the partner, not you, owns the Google Ad Manager network and reporting
  • Onboarding is documented in days or weeks rather than hours
  • Requires roughly 25,000 monthly pageviews, which excludes smaller sites

Works, but approval took a while

AdX approval with Mediavine took around 2-4 weeks for a coupons site, longer than promised. Once the MCM request was accepted everything ran fine, but the waiting and the 25,000+ pageviews/mo requirement will block smaller publishers.

Rejected over the traffic minimum

Turned down because of the 25,000+ pageviews/mo minimum after two weeks of emails, and nobody told me until I followed up. If you are a growing publisher looking for fast AdX approval, look elsewhere first.

Good support during onboarding

Support answered inside a day during the AdX approval process and explained the managed inventory model clearly. eCPM went up compared to plain AdSense. Dashboard is basic, so I still open Ad Manager for the real breakdowns.

Too slow for AdX approval

Signed up with a coupons site and waited weeks for the MCM invite. Mediavine eventually got AdX running, but communication was thin and I had to chase every update. Other partners in this directory approved me far faster.

AdX approval in 2-4 weeks

Applied with a coupons site and the Manage Account link showed up in Google Ad Manager within 2-4 weeks. Mediavine handled the MCM invite properly, AdX and AdSense demand were both live and reporting matched what I saw in Ad Manager.
